Fourteen years of operations and project work teaches you a shit load, but the thing that stuck with me most wasn't a system or a process. It was watching talented leaders and their businesses quietly fall apart from the inside because nobody had ever built the foundations.

I've spent fourteen years working across small businesses and big corporates in Australia and the UK, moving through operations, projects, accounts, and event management. I was ALWAYS the person who could walk into a business, identify what was broken or inefficient, and fix it. The one who asked the questions nobody else thought to ask, and the one who stayed until the dust settled.

Founders who are creative-led, bold, and brilliant at what they do are pouring everything into their front-facing work while the back-end tells a completely different story. Unstructured systems, unclear workflows, missing documentation, and processes that exist only in someone's head, until the cracks show and they've been there for months or years.
